Google Street View is a feature of Google Maps that allows you to explore real-world locations through 360° panoramic views.
How do I integrate Google Street View into my Calaméo account?
You must have an active Google Cloud Console account to use this integration. You can find more details on this topic here.
Click on your account avatar in the top right corner to access the navigation menu:
You can access and manage your Integrations by clicking here:
To add a new integration, click on the blue "+ Install" button.
In the window that opens, select "Google Street View".
Then enter your Google Cloud Console API key.
The API key is provided by the Google Cloud Console.
You can obtain your key from the Google Cloud Console dashboard at https://cloud.google.com/cloud-console.
Please note that Calaméo will need to use the following Google APIs for the integration to work correctly:
- Geocoding API
- Maps JavaScript API
It is also strongly recommended to apply the HTTPS referrer restriction indicated in the modal window to your API key, in order to limit the websites authorized to use it.
By default, API keys are not restricted. Unrestricted keys are not secure, as they can be used by anyone from any location.
